Terms & Conditions

General Terms

By registering for any paid or non-paid activities or services provided by Visnow, all participants acknowledge and agree that they have read and accepted the Visnow Ski School Terms & Conditions and the Liability Waiver & Release Agreement.

【Order Amendment Policy】

  1. You may request one free amendment (date, number of participants, or location) if notified more than 30 days before the activity date and subject to availability.

  2. Within 30 days before the activity date, amendments are not permitted. Adjustments to the number of participants may be considered depending on availability; please contact us as early as possible.

  3. If the activity is cancelled due to personal reasons after it has started, no refund will be provided.

  4. If participants arrive late due to personal reasons, no compensation of time or refund will be issued.

  5. (If you have purchased our 30-minute equipment rental assistance service, the lesson start time will only be postponed by 30 minutes.)

  6. If certain participants are unable to join due to special circumstances (e.g., personal injury), the activity will continue for the remaining participants as scheduled, and no refund or amendment will be offered.

  7. If the booked ski resort is completely closed due to accidents or extreme weather, or if our team is unable to reach the resort due to road closures, we will provide alternative resorts or alternative dates.

【Cancellation Policy】

If the ski resort is fully closed due to accidents, extreme weather, or other force majeure events preventing the entire group from joining, you may submit relevant proof to request a schedule change. We will provide alternative dates or locations.
Refunds will only be issued (minus processing fees) if the provided alternatives cannot accommodate the customer’s schedule.

Peak Season Dates

(Actual dates can be found on the course information page.)
For cancellations due to personal reasons, if notified 45 days before the activity date, a refund (minus processing fees) will be provided. We encourage early confirmation to secure maximum flexibility.

Regular Season Dates

(Actual dates can be found on the course information page.)
For cancellations due to personal reasons, if notified 30 days before the activity date, a refund (minus processing fees) will be provided.

Force Majeure within 7 Days Before Activity

If a major disaster occurs in Hokkaido within 7 days before the activity (e.g., earthquake, war, epidemic) causing the activity to be cancelled, the following arrangements will be provided:

• Free rescheduling to the next ski season, or
• Transfer of the course to another person

Since most arrangements (instructor allocation, insurance, resources, etc.) have already been secured, refunds are not available in such cases.
However, if you experience exceptional difficulties, please contact us—we will do our best to assist and review your case.

  2. Coverage must explicitly include skiing/snowboarding activities (including non-lesson time), natural disasters, transportation disruption, and activity cancellation.
