Terms & Conditions

By registering and participating in any activity or service provided by Visnow Ski Club (Visnow), all guests are deemed to have read and agreed to Visnow’s Terms & Conditions and Liability Waiver.

【Booking Changes】

  • If you notify us more than 30 days prior to the activity, you may change the date or participant count once free of charge, subject to availability.

  • No changes will be accepted within 30 days of the activity date. However, adjustments to the number of participants may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us as early as possible, and we will do our best to assist.

  • If you cancel after the activity has started due to personal reasons, the fee is non-refundable.

  • If you are late due to personal reasons, we will not extend the session nor offer a refund.
    (If you have booked our 30-minute rental assistance add-on, the class will start up to 30 minutes later.)

  • If some participants are unable to join the activity due to personal reasons (e.g. injury), the session will still proceed with the remaining participants, and no refund or change will be made for those who cannot attend.

  • If the booked ski resort is fully closed due to accidents or weather, or if our team is unable to reach the location due to road closures, we will offer an alternative date or location.

【Booking Cancellations】

  • If a full ski resort closure occurs due to accidents or extreme weather, or if other force majeure events result in the entire group being unable to travel, you may submit relevant documentation to request a change to your booking. We will offer an alternative ski resort and/or rescheduled date. A refund (after deducting handling fees) will only be provided if the alternative ski resort or date offered does not match your travel schedule.

  • For peak days (please refer to the course details for specific dates), if you need to cancel due to personal reasons, you may request a refund minus the service charge by notifying us at least 45 days in advance. We recommend confirming your plans early to ensure maximum flexibility.

  • For regular days (please refer to the course details for specific dates), if you need to cancel due to personal reasons, you may request a refund minus the service charge by notifying us at least 30 days in advance. We recommend confirming your plans early to ensure maximum flexibility.

  • If a major force majeure event (e.g. earthquake, war, epidemic) occurs within 7 days before the scheduled start, making it impossible to proceed with the activity as planned, we will provide the following flexible options:

    • Free rescheduling of your session to the next ski season, or

    • The option to transfer your booking to another person

As we often incur non-refundable costs in advance (e.g. for instructors, insurance, and resources), refunds will not be available in such cases. However, if you are facing exceptional hardship, please feel free to contact us — we will do our best to assist and handle your case with care.

📢 We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance before making payment, and to ensure your policy covers natural disasters, transportation disruptions, and activity cancellations, for your own protection.

【Equipment Rental Terms (Applicable Only to Visnow Rental Users)】

  • Renters must use and care for the equipment properly and avoid any intentional damage or misuse.

  • Equipment is strictly for use by the renter only and must not be subleased or lent to others.

  • If any equipment is damaged, lost, or stolen, the renter must immediately notify Visnow.

  • If equipment is damaged due to improper use or accidents, the renter will be charged repair costs as determined by Visnow.

  • If the equipment is lost or deemed irreparable, the renter shall pay the full replacement cost as assessed by Visnow.

  • Compensation must be paid immediately on-site following the incident.
    If a formal receipt is required, please request it within one day of payment.

  • Renters bear full responsibility for any personal injury or property damage arising from the use of the rental equipment.

  • By using Visnow’s equipment rental service, renters are deemed to have accepted all of the above terms.​

【Liability Waiver】

I am the main contact person and representative for this booking.

1. Assumption of Risk

  • I (and all accompanying participants) understand and agree that skiing and snowboarding are outdoor activities with inherent risks, including but not limited to falling, bruises, sprains, fractures, and hypothermia.

  • I (and all accompanying participants) voluntarily choose to participate in Visnow’s activities and accept full responsibility for any risks or incidents that may occur.

  • I (and all accompanying participants) understand the risks involved and acknowledge that we are responsible for purchasing personal travel insurance that includes ski coverage to cover any medical or accident-related expenses.

  • I (and all accompanying participants) confirm that we are in suitable physical and mental condition to participate in any Visnow activity.​

2. Responsibilities & Limitations

I (and all accompanying participants) fully understand and agree to the following:

  • The Visnow team will make every effort to provide professional and safe instruction, but cannot guarantee a risk-free environment.

  • If any accidents or injuries occur during the activity due to third-party factors, Visnow will offer necessary assistance but bears no legal liability.

  • If I (or any accompanying participant) cause damage or injury to others during the activity, we accept full responsibility, and Visnow shall not be held liable.

  • If I (or any accompanying participant) disobey instructions, act independently, fail to wear equipment properly, or engage in activities beyond our personal capabilities, resulting in accidents or injuries, Visnow and its instructors bear no legal or financial responsibility.

  • If I (or any accompanying participant) experience injury, accident, property damage, or loss while participating in an activity organized by Visnow’s partner or third-party providers, Visnow will provide necessary assistance within reasonable means but will not be held legally or financially liable.​

3. Personal Belongings

  • Please take care of all personal belongings (such as mobile phones, wallets, passports, etc.).

  • Visnow will not be held responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.​

4. Photography & Media Usage

  • Photos and videos may be taken during the session by instructors or photographers for activity documentation. Some of these images may be used for promotional purposes on Visnow's website or social media platforms. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us before the session begins.

  • All photos are the intellectual property of Visnow. Clients are permitted to use the images for personal purposes only (e.g. social media sharing, personal printing). Resale or commercial use is not allowed.

  • Visnow reserves the right to use photos and videos taken during the session for promotional purposes, including but not limited to websites, social media, and marketing campaigns. If you have any special privacy concerns, please submit a written request prior to booking.

 

In case of any disputes regarding the above terms, V.I Group, Ltd. (Visnow) reserves the final right of interpretation and decision.

These terms are effective upon publication. This version shall prevail, and Visnow reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.
